About the Item

“Evolution” by Paola F Bidinelli is a mixed media impasto painting with an earthy palette and large spots of vivid red and yellow. This 24 x16 x 1 inch abstract painting on canvas incorporates acrylic paint, paper, and glue. This textured painting is unframed and belongs to the “Opera" series. Modulated by layers of hues, each color states the aggressiveness of the brush, its visceral texture. This gestural phenomenology builds the imagery of "Evolution" in an abstract landscape with geometric strokes and rapid gestures. “Evolution” develops in powerful formations of moving rocks in their dark and dramatic magma.The painting is signed on the back.
