About the Item
Oracles provide wise, insightful counsel and were thought to be portals through which the gods spoke directly to people. In Bruno Surdo's "The Oracle", the central female character is in a state of deep contemplation, her eyes barely open, her dark hair flowing out from her head. The skin tones are utter perfection, making the viewer want to reach out and touch her. The painting is framed in a simple black wooden frame measuring 25.25h x 19.25w inches.
