Women in Motion (The Three Graces) - Nude Figurative in Oil on Canvas
A wonderful abstract expressionist take on the Three Graces by California artist Lora Sprague (American, 20th Century). The Graces are: Aglaia (Brightness), Euphrosyne (Joyfulness), and Thalia (Bloom). They are said to be daughters of Zeus and Hera (or Eurynome, daughter of Oceanus) or of Helios and Aegle, a daughter of Zeus. These three figures are show in an open field of green, at the shoreline. The landscape is depicted with a fish-eye effect, distorting the horizon around the subjects.

Unframed. Size: 27.5"H x 40"W x 1.50"D.
