Nudity in art has historically been a contentious subject, often raising questions about beauty standards, objectification, and the human form. In "In My Solitude," however, Edwin treats nudity with sensitivity and purpose. Irrespective of any race, we should never dispute the wisdom, and knowledge in little children but rather help them on the path of identifying their purpose This leads to the title Athena's trinity (Athena means goddess of wisdom and war). The figures at the back represent the wisdom and love in a child while the figure at the front represents the power instilled in a child that should never be looked down on.
