About the Item
Large circular oil and acrylic painting by artist Wenyu Zhu. This work shows in great detail two beautiful sunflowers rising up from the deep sea. Yellow butterflies are around them. Taking a closer look, you can see rich texture and vivid colour in harmony. It is in perfect condition. The canvas is made of linen and the finition is done by permanent varnish for longterm preservation.
Wenyu Zhu is a Chinese born artist living in Paris, France. She graduated from the École supérieure d'art du Nord Pas de Calais Dunkerque. She then continued her studies at the École supérieure libre d'art de Paris to obtain her doctorate. In recent years, her works have been widely collected by the Ministry of National Education (France), as well as by museums, galleries and collectors in China and France.
