Elena Lukina
Graphic collage on black

2012

About the Item

In creating this piece, I sought to explore the balance between emotional intensity and meditative calm. By using geometric and symbolic forms in bold gouache and colored pencil, each shape invites the observer into a different emotional space. The stark contrasts against a black backdrop enhance the vibrancy and yet form a harmonious whole. This artwork embodies a dynamic yet serene atmosphere that I envision will invigorate any space with its lively yet thoughtful energy. The work needs framing.
