Scottish Impressionist 20th century oil, figures inside a clothing market. Murray Urquhart was the son of Dr. Andrew Urquhart, Oakley, Kirkcudbright.  His mother, who died two weeks after Murray’s birth, was the daughter of Alexander McNeel Caird, Procurator Fiscal for Wigtownshire.
