Alfred Collin (1880-1944). Alfred Collin was a Swedish impressionist landscape and marine painter. Like many of his Scandinavian contemporaries he travelled to France where he became heavily influenced by the work of the Impressionsists. On his return to Sweden Collin was able to capture the beautiful local landscapes bathed in bright Swedish light.
