About the Item
The two artists and industrial designers, María Amparo Arozarena and Elena De La Fuente focus their art on creating 3d textures using diverse materials. This unique book canvass was made with abandonded books they found at an antique place in the heart of Mexico City. This work of art brings new life and a huge feeling of importance to the extinct books. Central Park reminds them of the famous Bosque de Chapultepec in Mexico City. With this work they remark how these two pods of nature take on the role of a living lung that provides fresh air to these two exciting cities.
The books are firmly attached to vertical wood panels which makes them easy to install and handle. This piece will bring new life to the space as the patch of nature does to the city.
