Realist desert landscape oil painting of pronghorn antelopes with a mountain range in the distance by Houston artist Cal Dean Hill Jr. in 1977. Signed and dated in lower right corner. Hung in a two toned black and gold frame. Artist Biography: Cal Dean Hill Jr. was a Houston, Tx native and lived from 1930-2017. He attended Rice University and received both a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Architecture. He was also active in the Navy for many years. He was fond of oil painting, bird-watching, hunting, and fishing.
