He paints everyday scenes that move him. Whether Berlin cityscapes with colorful billboards or idyllic fields and lakes in nature - under his brush everything shines a little brighter than it really is. In his long career as a painter, Suplie's curiosity and desire for light never died down. He is a master of traditional egg tempera painting, his motifs appear casual and unforced, and one is joyfully immersed in the freshness of the colors.
