Framed
A painter and teacher. Born in Liverpool. She attended Liverpool College of Art in 1940s, her teachers including Will Penn. She went on to teach locally, notably at the Mabel Fletcher Technical College, following a period at Liverpool School for the Blind, where she taught art.
Took up embroidery and won a prize in the International Poliomyelitis Embroidery Competition in 1958.
Also showed pictures at RA, SWA, RBA and elsewhere. Lived in Liverpool where she was a member of the Sandon Studios Society Club.
