Harriet Johns
Passage, high fired porcelain enamel, indoor/outdoor vibrant reds purple green

About the Item

Passage, high fired porcelain enamel, indoor/outdoor vibrant reds purple green Harriet Johns began working in enamel in the early 70s in industrial enamel plants in United States. This medium was a revelation. Johns knew she had found her natural medium. A lifetime of travel, looking and questioning plus an intuitive feeling for the expressive power of color provide her shifting but internally consistent subject matter. This medium is not only beautiful, but extremely durable. It works well in interior applications as well as outdoor installations.
