Condition: Overall very good condition. A beautifully executed Scottish Highland landscape by Joel B. Owen, signed and dated 1925, depicting a tranquil loch bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun. The composition centres upon a dramatic mountain range illuminated by rich evening light, its reflections shimmering across the still waters below. The artist has skilfully captured the atmospheric qualities of the Scottish Highlands, combining delicate colouring with confident brushwork to create a scene of remarkable serenity and depth.
