Kimberly MacNeille
"Aerial Sun Through Clouds" Medium Sized Landscape of Fields and Sky at Sunset

2017

About the Item

"Aerial Sun Through Clouds," Oil on Canvas, 44 x 40 Inches is a highly realistic landscape in blues, grays, pinks, lavender and white which depicts a sunset over water and a burst of light in the clouds peeking through the sky. Sky and clouds are the primary focus with a strip of deep blue/gray water in the lower 20% of the canvas. MacNeille captures the moment perfectly and this canvas is painted with all the elegance and attention to detail of the best of the 19th century Hudson River artists. MacNeille is a beautiful painter of landscapes in general, always with careful attention to light and time of day, as well beach scenes, water, and Niagara Falls.
