A fine example of Modern Mexican Surrealism
A native of San Juan del Edo Etla, Oaxaca, he was born in 1959.
He had his first contact with Art when he entered the Center for Art Studies in Cd, Oaxaca, where, in addition to work, he practiced in workshops, taking a lot of interest in the Study of Art History.
In his expression Román chooses the theme of Magic Realism, a poetic art that identifies him, reflecting the voice of traditions, the family environment; a close contact with nature, the song of birds, the sunrise and the starry skies.
His painting has conquered one of the purest languages, as we find ourselves in front of a vibrant work with a refined intonation of color, full of audacity but at the same time of security and good direction.
His work creatively reflects the link between man and his consciousness, seeks to explore the meaning that is given to existence
