"Abstract Reflections" by Marcia Wise is an 18 x 24 inch abstract oil painting predominately in blues with yellow, orange, pink and purple that focuses on the abstract qualities of the reflections of water. Texture is enhanced by the layering method of oil paint and the addition/reduction process. The painting is unframed and signed by the artist on the reverse. The sides are painted black.
Marcia Wise is a Massachusetts-based contemporary oil painter and educator whose paintings are inspired by nature's landscape forms and patterns, color relationships, light effects and reflections, and the play of textures. Her work has been exhibited and collected nationally. Wise is represented by Fountain Street Gallery in Boston, MA.
