About the Item
Alirio Palacios was one of the most versatile Venezuelan painters, draftsmen and engravers of the second half of the 20th century. He was part of the new figuration of the 60s in Venezuela, and the drawing boom of the 70s, which made him worthy of the National Prize of Plastic Arts in 1972.
"Versiones No. 5" is a portrait painting, mixed media on cardboard by Venezuelan artist Alirio Palacios (1928-2015). It is part of a series inspired by a painting by Johannes Vermeer entitled Girl Reading a Letter at an Open Window.
The artwork is signed and dated on the front and accompanied by a certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
