Artist/ School: British School, indistinctly signed lower right, circa 1950's
Title: Portrait of an Aristocratic Lady. The previous owner believed the sitter to be a member of the Queen Mother's family, the Bowes-Lyon family, though we are still researching this.

canvas: 24 x 20 inches
Provenance: private collection, England
Condition: The painting is in overall very good and sound condition. The frame is of incredible quality though has several areas of plaster loss and remains very fragile and at risk of further losses during transit. As such, we offer it free of charge with the painting and it is not eligible for return on that basis.
