About the Item
This is a large floral painting of a warm pink, orange, gold and lavender rose. It was painted by the renown flower artist Chloe Hedden. Chloe says, "this painting was inspired by a rose the color of sunsets in my childhood. The structure of the flower speaks to desert canyons and the glowing light found there."
"Hedden communicates the language of light. She believes that light is the luminous self made manifest in this world. Zooming in close to a dense cluster of glittering refraction, or delicate transparency and shadow, Hedden renders these microcosms on large canvases with her muscular brush strokes. Her pieces are actual portraits of a particular mineral or flower at a precise moment in time."
This painting is oil on museum wrap canvas and painted around the edge so no framing is needed. The painting is 36 x 48 x 2.25 inches in size and was completed in 2020. This beautiful flower painting is ready to hang and signed on the back by the artist.

About artist:
Born in Utah (USA), Chloe Hedden looks for the unseen patterns and hidden narratives that reveal the magnificence in all things. According to the artist, there is a still point in every moment and to capture this essential luminescence is what she aims for in her practice. Chloe makes use of archetypes from the cultural and mystical history to inform her work. It is through this inspiration that she created her latest body of work comprised of intricately folded Burlap wall sculptures. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in 2002, Chloe's paintings and sculptures can be found in numerous public and private collections.
