About the Item

Artist Commentary: Every summer the sunflowers are dazzling and and cared. I choose the ones that speak to me for watercolors. About the artist: Lynne's work was recently chosen by the U.S. Department of State to be featured in the Art in Embassies Program for the U.S. Embassies in Djibouti, East Africa and Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has had numerous solo shows in New York City galleries, as well as the Booth Western Art Museum and the James McNeil Whistler Museum. Her work is in included in the collections of Pfizer, McGraw Hill, IBM and the Ritz Carlton Hotels. Lynne has her studio in the mid Hudson Valley and is inspired by travel, having had 7 artist residency grants, and her local landscape. In 2015, she had a solo exhibit at Coldwell Banker in Stone Ridge, NY at LaGuardia Community College/CUNY Galleries.
