About the Item
One-of-a-kind alt process silver gelatin print. Made with flowers, glitter, sand and more. From my multi-award-winning "Metamorphosis" series.
I began making alt process photograms in June 2020, due to having an unfinished darkroom at the time of the shutdown. 2+ years and 4 bodies of experimental work later, I have not only refined my processes (which I also teach), but the work is still winning awards...
I am currently doing a live (recorded) virtual artist residency - in my home darkroom (for a photography magazine based in Switzerland) and am happy to share some of the videos of my extremely experimental processes that composed the first 3 parts of the residency - upon request. I am currently working on the 5th part, which will be the conclusion (the series will conclude with new film-based work, which is closely related in context to my alt process work).
