About the Item

First light skims across the schoolyard pavement creating long and dramatic shadows. A golden dog is captured running through the scene and blends in creating a de Chirico like a surrealist image. The work demonstrates extra ordinal levels of artistic skill and understanding of light and shadow. Mitchell Funk above all is an artist of Light. Signed and numbered 3/15 lower right recto, Dated and titled on verso, other sizes available, unframed. Printed later, Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper Bio: Can a street photograph be a grab shot and precisely designed at the same time? Mitchell Funk says yes.
