„Inspired by the fascinating peoples of southern Ethiopia I decided to travel deep into this beautiful country and experience the rural tribes in the flesh.
I have always been fascinated by 18th and 19th century ethnographic sketches and brilliant black and white anthropological photography in far away countries. As a curious individual I want to submerge myself in different cultures, sights and smells and record my encounters vigorously. As our world accelerates in change of all kinds it may be the indigenous people of the world whos cultures and traditions slowly but definitely die off. This concern stands at the heart of my initiative to document Ethiopian tribal people.“
