It involves sorting, searching, and seeing. Conceptually, the work revolves around the idea of loss, disintegration, and the attendant themes of legacy, inheritance, and inventory. Things – often photographic materials – that are overlooked, considered insignificant and/or trivialized play an important role, and presenting them anew is part of what I consider their rehabilitation.
