About the Item
Shot in Coney Island in 2013 the iconic Wonder Wheel, a universal symbol of fun will bring a pop of colour to a room. This artwork was selected for the 250th Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2018.
This artwork is a limited edition of 10 gloss photographic print presented in a museum board white window mount and a choice of black or white box frame fitted with anti-reflective UV70% glass. It is signed and numbered on reverse accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
It is available tin other sizes and it pairs beautifully with Richard's other artworks you can find in our 1stdibs store.
Richard Heeps’ seductive, highly saturated colours and sophisticated pictorial structures demonstrate a true love and empathy for his subject matter – be it cool, descriptive interiors, still life, portrait or landscape. His distinctive style pushes the limits of lens-based photography without the need for digital manipulation. He runs his own darkrooms in Cambridge (UK) where he hand prints his colour photography. His work has been exhibited in Museums and Public Galleries around England and he has participated in Art Fairs around the world and his work is now part of many international collections.
