Reinhard Görner, Ganymed, Palazzo Grimani, Venice, Italy. In this monumental photograph, a sculpture depicting the Kidnapping of Ganymed is suspended in the center of the vault, decorated by lacunae. The image combines the unique geometric abstraction of the architecture with the organic form of the sculpture and the floor. What is so unique about this artwork?
