'Waiting for the Wizard' is a stunning black and white piece by Guido Argentini. It depicts a nude woman sitting on a vintage sink in a bathroom. One of her legs rests on the edge of the sink while the other is stretched out to help her balance on the ledge. The graphic black and white tiles covering the floor and walls of the room create a stunning visual.
Dramatic poses, tender touches, and longing glances populate Guido Argentini’s photographic landscape. The Italian star photographer, celebrated in all genres, has a particular gift for the female nude. Juxtaposing and contextualizing the female body through cityscapes and the natural environment, Argentini playfully compares color, forms, and moods.
