About the Item
161.03.11 is a work by contemporary photographer Klaus Kampert, from the 'On Body Forms' series.
The work of Klaus Kampert is focused on nude photography, trying to capture an emotion from the bodies of his models which far outstrips the simple physical dimension. To him the body is the casing of the soul: by working on the body language, he strives to capture both casing and soul, in each and every studio photograph.
In this series the model is stripped of identity. The poses adopted and the absence of heads produce enigmatic and dehumanized forms. The body therefore takes on the appearance of an abstract sculpture.
Prints of Klaus Kampert's photographs are sold in limited edition.
