This Portrait of Andy Warhol posing on blue background is an original photograph realized by the French portrait artist Gerald Bruneau (Monte Carlo, 1947) during the 1980's, with a visible blueprint-toning. Signed, dated and stamped, our specimen is from a limited edition of only 5 pieces. In excellent condition, including a black painted wooden frame, under glass, this original portrait has the officiality of a formal portrait and the magic of the pictorial realism of the 1940's daguerreotypes above all on the background. In a large dark room, the clear face and the silver hairpiece of the Pop Art father stand out, managing to capture Andy Warhol's aura.
