Please note that prices and availability may change due to current sales. _________________________________________________________________________________ Nacho Heras Castan, stands out fundamentally for a great sensitivity when it comes to capturing a landscape or the expression of a face. A great lover of nature which he enjoys especially with photographic reports realized in diverse enclaves throughout the Spanish geography, as well as in numerous trips abroad. Fascinated by the light and the strength of sunrises and sunsets, he seeks to transmit peace and serenity in his photos. In his travels touring the different continents, Castan tried to capture every visual moment in the retina of his photographic camera. He wished to be able to transmit through these images, the feeling of loneliness lived in each of those moments, accompanied only by the silence and the magnitude of nature. The vast majority of his photographs are made with long exposures to capture in a different way the light and thus make the colors manifest in different shades and textures, transforming the water, the leaves, the clouds... The objective of his work is to be able to transfer that "visual memory" to anyone who wishes to observe it. El Torero in this image is Julian Lopez Escobaris, commonly known as "El Juli" born in Madrid, Spain. The Spanish word for bullfighter and describe all the performers in the sport of bullfighting as practiced in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Peru, France, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and other countries influenced by Portuguese and Spanish culture. The main performer and leader of the entourage in a bullfight, and who finally kills the bull, is addressed as maestro (master), or with the formal title matador de toros (killer of bulls). The other bullfighters in the entourage are called subalternos and their suits are embroidered in silver as opposed to the matador's more-theatrical gold.
