William Klein (born 1928) was a revolutionary fashion photographer. His photographs are characterised by natural lighting, high contrast, and iconic sets and costume. He is best known for his glamorous photographs taken for Vogue magazine throughout the 1950s. Klein also focused on film-making from the mid-1960s onwards, using a similar photographic aesthetic in his award-winning film Who Are You, Polly Maggoo? (1966).
