ET Projects: Elizabeth Turk
LOOK UP Coneflower

About the Item

ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Project: "Look Up" In 2019, ArtStar proposed to ET Projects an opportunity to create fine art, limited edition prints which would capture the memory of our events. We are excited by the prospect of printed imagery keeping alive the joy, camaraderie, and hope experienced under our umbrellas. ET Projects, a 501(c)3, was created in 2018 with the vision to bring communities together through the magic of art and nature. Shoreline Project was the first large scale immersive art experience launched in partnership with the Laguna Art Museum, in Laguna Beach, CA. The second venue was to be Vientienne, Laos, along the edge of the Mekong. Postponed by Covid-19, ET Projects reinvented and in 2020 and launched Project: “Look Up” in partnership with Mt. San Antonio Gardens. The images are of bold, resilient plants, each with a unique story of nature overcoming adversity. Spearheaded by Elizabeth Turk, an artist known primarily as a sculptor of marble, she expanded her portfolio to include public art experiences through ET Projects. A native to Southern California, she is a MacArthur Fellow, an Annalee & Barnett Newman Foundation and Joan Mitchell recipient. Her work has been represented by Hirschl and Adler, Modern in NYC for 20 years. It is important to acknowledge the team at ET Projects, the photographers responsible for documenting Shoreline Project and now, Project: “Look Up": Erik Thienes, Christopher Stobie, Eric Stoner, Madison Holler, Mike Townsend, Mike Thienes, Shirley Salvatore, Jay Brown and the hundreds of participants making our immersive art experiences come alive. ADDITIONAL SIZES AND FRAMING: Additional sizes are available. Please inquire for more information on larger sizes. We offer fully archival professional framing for all prints for an additional cost. Framing is available in white, black or natural wood and prints can be framed either with or without a mat board. We also offer face mounting to plexiglas. Please inquire for pricing and more details on our framing. PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.
