Hans Richter (Berlin 1888.1976) was a German director, painter and writer. Director, film theorist and one of the greatest experimenters of cinematic aesthetics. Starting from pictorial experiences of abstract orientation, he dedicated his research from the
beginning to the need to articulate the figurative space in a movement that went beyond the limits of the traditional framework.
