Miho Suzuki was born in Tokyo. She studied theater art in Georgia, received a B.A. in Media Arts in New Jersey and M.F.A. in Photography and Related Media in New York. Suzuki works in the medium of photography and video.
Suzuki’s artistic obsession with camera started very early age. She broke her aunt’s old SLR camera lens at the age of eight. Her and her sister created instant act and improvisation at home, and photographed each other when their parents were away. At the age of eleven Suzuki was so eager to photograph her dog and cats that she compiled photo books for them. Suzuki stays true to her personal vision and is excited about photographing and editing process to this day.
