Each copy is accompanied by certificate of authenticity In the work of Dmitry Vrubel, the images of grandmothers do not stand out in a separate series like "Grandmother," but are piercingly manifested in the "Gospel Project" (since 1993) and "The Artist's Diary" (1996). Technique: dark layers of paint on canvases, "developing" faces as on photo paper, removing 90% random to reveal sacred values - God, society, the author's personal heartbeat. These poignant portraits embody a paradox: bad news (the horror of the world) becomes "good" through the evangelical optimism of novelty, reflecting post-Soviet darkness and the global apocalypse. The print is presented in two formats: 60 * 80 and 100 * 80.
