Signed on plate by the artist on the lower left corner: E. Laporte.
Titled on the lower margin: étude d'un tigre royal.
Excellent conditions.
The Tiger is an excellent lithograph hand-colored realized in the middle of the XX Century. It depicts a tiger in the nature with an open mouth. The stroke is very delicate and elegant and the colors are bright and lively.
This work has been realized by Emile Henri LaPorte (1841 - 1919) was active and lived in France. Emile LaPorte is known both for Painting and sculpture.
