Original linen-backed Bruxelles (Brussels) Foire Internationale oversize vintage travel poster. The poster features the most famous Grand Palace in Brussels. The square is the most important tourist destination and most memorable landmark in Brussels, Belgium. In very good condition. Expertly restored fold marks
The image has a bell ringer in the forefront, calling for the attention of the crowd of people in the square. The background has the Grand Place is surrounded by the guild houses, the City Hall, and the Maison du Roi. The Grand Place of Brussels was registered on the World Heritage List of UNESCO in 1998. Now numerous festive or cultural events are organized on the Grand Place.
Artist: Fernand Toussaint, the celebrated Belgian painter of still lifes and figurative subjects, was born in Brussels in 1873. He is known for Landscape, genre, portrait, and still-life painting
