"Saddle Bags", Limited Edition Mixed Media Modern Pop Art Collotype, 4/6 "Saddle Bags", a unique limited edition mixed media collotype on paper and machine sewn collage applique by Maureen Fenton-Henson (American, 1946-2007). Signed "Fenton" and dated "74" lower right. Titled "Saddle Bags" lower middle and numbered "4/6" lower left. Unframed. Image size, 30"H x 18"W. Maureen Fenton-Hansen was born in Rochester, NY on May 20, 1946, and raised in Montebello, CA. She received her BA in Art at SDSU and Masters of Fine Art in Lithography at UCSB. Maureen was an abstract artist who, through her 30-year artistic career, used her art to express universal sentiments via multi-media collage. In the latter part of Maureen's life calligraphy assumed increasing importance as a mode of articulation. Maureen taught art at Hartnell College and exhibited locally and nationally.
