Original black and white woodcut. Image dimensions 11.8 x 15.6 cm.
Quite good conditions except for foxings especially along the margin.
Original title L'America. Printed by Charles Motte, Paris. (Lith de C. Motte printed on lower right)-
At lower center, under the printed title, there is the seal of the Duc D'Orleans. On higher center it's printed: Galerie du Palais Royal (T. re. Gudin).
The artwork represents a view of a ship bearing the American flag.
