Original Versailles, France vintage lithograph French travel poster. Printed by the French National Railroad, SNCF in the 1930's. Printer: Goossens.
A poster fit for a king, since he did at one time reside here at Versailles.
The grand fountains with a chariot and horses with water blowing nymph horns . The expensive gardens with marble statues lead up to the palace resting on the knoll.
The artist is Maurice Milliere (1871 - 1946).
This original French antique poster is archival linen backed in very fine condition, ready to frame. The lithographic colors in this vintage posterAre bright, vibrant, and clean.
