About the Item
Russia-born Ray Euffa studied at the Detroit School of Fine Arts, the Educational Alliance Art School, and Art Students League in NYC. It is New York City itself that is most often the subject of his work. Here a Manhattan or perhaps Brooklyn locksmith shop is shown along with its brownstone neighbors. The title 'Keys' makes us aware of the signage.
This serigraph (screen print) is signed, titled and numbered in pencil. There's an impression of this subject in the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
