Originally published by the Gugler Lithograph Company in 1898 as a chromolithograph, 'Panoramic View of Milwaukee, WI, Taken From City Hall Tower' is a giclée print reproduction that depicts the city of Milwaukee in panorama. The composition is rendered with a precision in color and subject characteristic of the American Realist movement. Notable Milwaukee sites are listed in the margin below the composition. This composition can be viewed as survey of the city in the sense that, as a panorama, it attempts to detail the entirety of the city as accurately as possible; but it is also a survey in the sense that it provides a list the key sites that make the city of Milwaukee so unique.

Framed to conservation standards using archival materials including 100% rag matting, UF5 plexiglass to inhibit fading from UV rays, and housed in a custom gold finish wood frame with botanical detailing.
