Allison Wade
I Thought We Were Special

About

ABOUT THIS PIECE: "The Break Up Text Message painting and photographs series deals with relationships and the problems inherent in contemporary modes of communication. These works expose the perils of one-way communication. The paintings make it loud and clear that we are now willing to send a text to convey painful and even hurtful emotional messages." –Allison Wade ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Boldly unequivocal, Allison Wade's Break Up Text Message series present snippets from modern romance. Using actual messages from her own relationships, Wade flawlessly illustrates break-up texts she's received or sent. Cleanly sophisticated and sleekly satirical, Wade's works get to the heart of love the digital age. PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.
