Original vintage travel poster - Visitad Cordoba la Ciudad de los Califas / Visit Cordoba the City of the Caliphs - featuring a view showing the innovative architecture of the tiered arches and columns in the historic Mezquita / Great Mosque Cathedral of Cordoba (built 785-786) with the stylised bold title text below and CET lion logo above. Artwork by the Spanish painter Jose Segrelles Albert (1885-1969). The ancient city of Cordoba / Cordova is located the Andalusia region of southern Spain; the Islamic Caliphate of Cordoba was established by Abd al-Rahman I of the Umayyad dynasty in 756. Excellent condition.
