Original vintage pictorial travel map poster for Cambridge published by British Railways Eastern Region featuring a fantastic colourful illustration by the British artist, illustrator and poster designer who specialised in pictorial maps Kerry Lee (1902-1988) showing a view over the university city's historical Gothic and Classical architecture with its notable buildings, trees and bridges over the River Cam and coats of arms from the area, the bold stylised lettering against the blue sky banner above and green banner below. The university city of Cambridge is the county town of Cambridgeshire in England. Printed in Great Britain by John Waddington Limited Leeds and London. Large size. Horizontal. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, restored tears, staining, backed on linen.
