Original vintage train travel poster for the Isle of Sheppey & Sheerness on Sea on the bracing East Kent Coast only 50 miles from London featuring great artwork depicting a man on steps in the foreground looking at the holiday makers sunbathing on the sandy beach between wooden breakwater groynes with people swimming in the sea and walking along the promenade enjoying a sunny day at the seaside and a family watching men next to a sailing boat in the foreground, the colourful bold text below. Artwork by the British painter David William Burley (1901-1990). Published by the Southern Railway Trade Advertising Service. Good condition, restored tears, restored paper loss on edge, backed on linen.
