  • Truth
    By Francoise LeClerc
    Located in Denver, CO
Francoise LeClerc is a sculptor working in ceramics and found objects. Often depicting horses, her work evokes themes of emergence and transformation, sensitivity and trust. Expressing both boldness and vulnerability, her work can be simultaneously vigorous and quiet. The reclaimed tool boxes and rusty parts bins (into which she mounts her sculptures) provide a tangible and metaphoric connection to the past. Together, they suggest a searching; a desire to reconstitute and understand experiences and histories that were not adequately explained. Her collections, forms and surfaces are influenced by David Ireland...

  • Dump Truck
    By Carly Glovinski
    Located in Denver, CO
Rooted in observation and fueled by a curiosity about the behavior of objects and handicraft processes, Carly Glovinski makes paintings, sculpture and works on paper that often teeter between representation and abstraction. Letting craft techniques like weaving inform her mark making, her work mimics everyday objects and highlights geometric pattern and structure found in textiles, while exploring the resourceful attitudes associated with domestic craft and rural communities that prioritize placemaking in concert with nature. She received her BFA from Boston University in 2003 and is represented by Morgan Lehman Gallery...

  • From Dusk To Dawn - Sculptural Geometric Abstract Metallic Wall Artwork
    By Hugo Urrutia
    Located in Los Angeles, CA
Born in 1974 in Mexico, Hugo Urrutia is a multidisciplinary artist-designer, interested in the cross-pollination between art and architecture. His artwork challenges the notion of what constitutes a piece of art. As a graduate and active member of the Architectural Association in the United Kingdom, Urrutia's work creates a distinct spatiality located at the interstice of art and architecture. His work explores and uses technology for design and fabrication, with a sensitive and conscious reminder of the creativity of human endeavor. This original artwork is created with oil lacquer paint on carved Baltic birch. This wall sculpture measures 29 inches high by 38 inches wide and has a depth of 5 inches. In this series titled "Flexible Rigids", Urrutia explores sculptural forms that simulate smooth harmonic movements of a flexible surface, initiating the process from a “rigid “surface. The artwork is signed by the artist on the back. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included with this unique artwork. Urrutia graduated from the Architectural Association in 2013, earning a Master of Architecture in the Design & Make programme. In 2000, he graduated from Texas Tech University, with a Bachelor of Architecture and Design and received the 2000 Outstanding Thesis Award. In 2004, he founded Decorazon Gallery in Dallas’ Bishop Arts District where he curated and exhibited numerous art exhibitions for national and international artists. His personal artwork has been exhibited worldwide.
