About the Item
GRAY CHROMATIC CRYSTALS is an iridescent wall sculpture made out of solid wood and then painted sealed. The geometric facets are hand carved and add intricacy to the structure. This creates a dynamic artwork where light circulates on the surface and shadows are projected on the surrounding wall. This effect creates an expandable reach that is engaging to the viewer. This sculpture is signed on the back and a certificate of authenticity is included. Ships safely in a crate.
About artist:
Born in Utah (USA), Chloe Hedden looks for the unseen patterns and hidden narratives that reveal the magnificence in all things. According to the artist, there is a still point in every moment and to capture this essential luminescence is what she aims for in her practice. Chloe makes use of archetypes from the cultural and mystical history to inform her work. It is through this inspiration that she created her latest body of work comprised of intricately folded Burlap wall sculptures. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in 2002, Chloe's paintings and sculptures can be found in numerous public and private collections.
