Frank Connet is an American artist based in Chicago, best known for using the process of the dye-resist technique of mokume shibori, hand stitched resist pattern on fabric. Connet’s work is inspired by natural phenomenon and urban surroundings. His roots in traditional dye-techniques and textile study deeply influence his sculptural work.
